Don't invest in this cable if you want to connect a laptop with VGA output to a Television with component input. The product info says it will function but I can assure you that it does not for a Dell laptop to a Panasonic Plasma HDTV. Also the corporation doesn't answer my e mails requesting support
I employed this cable to connect my DVD player (component output) to my Dell front projector (VGA input) and it functions terrific! The cables on the component side appear thin but the picture quality is amazing which is all that matters. I''m rather content with everything.
This cable will not perform if you just try connecting your laptop to a receiver or a Television. Youll have to have a unique video card in order to do this.
