I purchased 3 of these leads to go with a switcher for a single input hdmi plasma Television. I can honestly say that these leads present identical efficiency to the £24 hdmi lead purchased with a PS3.

In my opinion they are the proof that hdmi is a digital interface and more than these distances the ultra-high-priced alternatives are a waste of dollars - shop for these instead!

Now my PS3, DVD and Virginmedia box all deliver good service by way of these leads. As these will remain plugged in for extended periods now I will occasionally disconnect and clean the contacts to stop a slow build up of oxides on the surfaces but basically they are "fit and forget"

Firstly they expense practically absolutely nothing compared to your common hi street rip off shop.

Secondly they do what they are supposed to do perfectly well.

Only ultra techy ubernerds will pipe up to 'explain' the differece in between

these and the overpriced nonsence consumers fall for.

Even so, could they definitely spot the differece?

Admittidly they appear a bit cheap but how commonly do you look

at a lead when it really is plugged in?!

A Harry Potter 'Blue Ray' was playing in my neighborhood Currys. The assisstant

explained that it was via a 'proper' HDMI lead costing £50 plus.

In all honesty it looked entirely over dynamic and incredibly grainy, giving it

a unreal excellent. My £2 lead was essentially much better! I have taught Photoshop

for the last 11 years so I pay close attention to the dynamics etc of pictures.

The highly-priced lead image just looked 'wrong'. Who knows, they can have set

it up incorrectly, but for £2 unless you are really 'studying' that stuff you

can't go incorrect. invest in it.
